Tally Systems announces the release of QuickMeasure OnScreen version 1.7.0. The new release is available to all customers who have purchased QuickMeasure OnScreen in the last 12 months or are currently covered under the software maintenance program.
The latest release improves document control by adding a directional zoom and auto-pan feature.
The two new features allow the user to maneuver through the document quickly and with more ease.
In the current version of QuickMeasure OnScreen using the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom in will take you to the middle of the plan, not the location of the mouse cursor. The new version will zoom directly to the location of the mouse cursor, regardless of where it is positioned on the plan. For example, if you wanted to look at something in the lower left of the plan, you would position your mouse cursor over the object and then scroll the mouse. The software will zoom in directly to that object.
In the current version when you are zoomed in and hit the right hand edge of the screen, you have to hold down the right button on your mouse to pan to the right (or use the scroll bars). On the new release, when you hit the right hand edge of the screen the software will automatically pan to the right. No need to use the right click pan, or scroll bars.
